This year at the Bridgeport Art Center at 35th and Racine, a celebration of harvest and fine craft beers will be held on Friday, October 5th from 5pm-9pm. The festival is being held by Maria’s Community Bar. Several of America’s finest microbreweries with over two dozen ales will be present at the festival including: Half Acre, Revolution, Great Lakes, Founders, Sixpoint, Stone, New Belgium, Five Rabbits, Virtue Cider, Baderbrau, Lagunitas, and others.

For $30, attendees will receive a free copy of the second issue of Mash Tun Journal and all-you-can-drink free pours from participating breweries. Guests will also receive a free souvenir tasting glass. There will also be a pig roast, food trucks and live performances at the fundraiser. The event is being held in the atrium at the Bridgeport Art Center. I will personally be attending this event. Hope to see some of my readers there!
